Коллекция: Yarn in Skeins

Natural European Dundaga yarns in skeins — rustic, rare, and ready for your creativity.

This is one of my favorite yarns to work with — straight from a tiny, remote village in Latvia called Dundaga. These yarns are spun from a blend of European sheep breeds (German, Swiss, Latvian, and even some rare island sheep), and then dyed by hand in small batches. Every skein carries a story — multicolored or solid, never the same, always full of warmth and life.

What makes Dundaga so special? The treatment is minimal — no harsh chemicals or bleaching. Less than 5% synthetic dye is used. The rest is nature. You’ll feel it right away: soft lanolin, gentle sheepy scent, rich organic texture. It’s almost like the yarn is still alive — and I love that.

Available in two weights:
🧶 6/1: approx. 420m per 100g
🧶 6/2: approx. 230m per 100g

I regularly renew this collection with new colors and blends. Some colorways are wild and expressive, others calm and grounding — but each one is unique.

And here's what I always tell my customers: Dundaga is not just yarn. It's like watercolor paint.
You don’t need to overthink it. Just pick your colors, cast on, and let it flow. Let your hands paint. Let the yarn guide you. Somehow, Dundaga always brings the magic — and what you’ll end up with is not just a project, but a masterpiece.
