✨ Texture & Feel
This yarn has a buttery-soft, airy touch with an elegant, natural sheen. Royal Alpaca fibers are finer than cashmere, offering extraordinary warmth without weight. The resulting fabric is fluid, breathable, and luxuriously gentle against the skin — ideal for heirloom-quality knitwear.

🧶 Recommended Uses
Perfect for:
• Timeless sweaters and cardigans
• Lightweight shawls and wraps
• Fine scarves and delicate accessories
• Blending with silk or merino for an ultra-soft halo and structure

🪡 Recommended Needles & Hooks
• Knitting Needles: 3.0–4.5 mm (US 2.5–7)
• Crochet Hooks: 2.5–4.0 mm (US B–G)
To preserve its airy character, use larger needles for openwork and soft drape.

📏 Estimated Yarn Usage
• Sweater (Size M): 250–350 g (approx. 2000–2800 m / 2187–3060 yd)
• Shawl or Wrap: 100–200 g (approx. 800–1600 m / 875–1750 yd)
• Scarf or Cowl: 100 g (approx. 800 m / 875 yd)

🧵 Weaving Recommendations
Royal Alpaca is best used for weft due to its delicate loft and softness, creating a rich, tactile texture. For warp, combine with a strong, smooth fiber like silk or merino for structure. Recommended sett: 10–14 EPI for a soft, draping fabric.

📍 Care Instructions
• Hand wash gently in cold water with mild detergent
• Do not wring or twist
• Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight

🧶 Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

📍 FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

📍 FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. PLEACE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

📍 Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

📦 Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
