📍 YOU CAN BUY CONES HERE

📍 CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE.
Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover the shipping cost associated with different packaging sizes and the self-cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Texture & Feel:
This is a high-quality, 100% Alpaca fiber, offering a non-prickly, supremely soft touch. It has a beautiful natural halo and provides phenomenal warmth for its weight. The fibers bloom after washing to create a plush, airy fabric with elegant drape.

🧶 A Note from the Knitter
As a pure Alpaca yarn, it is exceptionally soft and delicate. It is highly recommended to swatch and wash your piece to experience the true softness and final gauge of the fabric. This yarn is most often knit with multiple strands for stability.

🧶 Recommended Use:
This extremely fine Lace-weight yarn is highly recommended for being held with multiple threads to achieve a wearable gauge.
• Accessories: Perfect for shawls and scarves where lightweight warmth and a luxurious drape are desired.
• Companion Yarn: Excellent for adding warmth and texture to any knitwear by holding it alongside a smooth silk or wool thread.
• Garments: Knit in 3 or 4 strands for ethereal, warm sweaters and cardigans.
• Baby & Kids Wear: Alpaca is naturally hypoallergenic and very soft, making it suitable for sensitive skin.

🧶 Knitting with Multiple Strands
• This yarn is most effectively used when held with other strands to create a working weight:
• 3 Threads: Creates a Fingering weight yarn with an approximate yardage of 417m (455yd) per 100g.
• 4 Threads: Creates a Sport weight yarn with an approximate yardage of 312m (341yd) per 100g.
• 5 Threads: Creates a Light DK weight yarn with an approximate yardage of 250m (273yd) per 100g.

🧶Recommendations for Weaving:
This 100% Alpaca yarn is an exceptional choice for both warp and weft. When used as a weft, it provides a gorgeous, soft halo and phenomenal drape. For warp, its natural strength is suitable for low-to-medium density fabrics.

🧶 Recommended Needles & Hooks (Based on 3-Ply Knitting):
• For knitting with three threads (creating a Fingering weight), we recommend 2.5–3.5 mm (US 1.5–4) needles. The general gauge is 24–28 stitches per 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch. Use the smaller end of the range (2.5mm) for a denser, more structured fabric, and the larger end (3.5mm) for a softer, loftier drape.
• For crochet, use hooks in the range of 2.5–3.5 mm (C-2 to E-4).

📏 Estimated Usage (Based on 3-Ply Fingering Knit):
• Sweater (M): 350–450g (1459–1875m / 1593–2048 yd)
• Shawl (Single Ply): 100–150g (1250–1875m / 1367–2050 yd)
• Scarf: 100g (1250m / 1367 yd)

📍 Care Instructions:
• Hand wash gently in cool water with a mild detergent
• Do not wring or twist
• Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight

📍 Please note:
Most yarn prepared on cones for machine knitting is lightly waxed to ensure smooth running. Once knit, it should be washed to reveal its true softness. This yarn is perfect for both hand and machine knitting, highly recommended for creating premium-quality knitwear.

📸 Please Note:
• The amount of yarn shown on cones in the photos may not reflect the actual quantity you’ll receive. Yarn is custom-wound per your order.
• Colors are photographed in natural lighting but may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings. I recommend zooming in on each photo to fully appreciate the beauty and texture of the yarn.
• ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to the winding process.
• Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
