SIBERIA offers a velvety, soft texture with excellent warmth and breathability. The cashmere provides luxurious softness and a gentle hand, while the merino adds elasticity, durability, and structure. The finished fabric feels smooth, cozy, and naturally insulating without heaviness. Ideal for everyday luxury pieces and refined, long-lasting garments.

The sample shown was knitted using US size 4 needles with a single strand. Even before washing, the yarn felt beautifully soft, and after a gentle soak it became noticeably more supple and refined. The blend of 70% superfine merino and 30% cashmere creates a fabric that feels luxurious yet balanced. The finished fabric is light with a delicate halo, but still has substance and structure — not overly airy, rather elegant and comfortable in the hands. After washing, the color appears brighter and clearer, and the stitches open beautifully.

The yarn’s thickness is ideal, allowing you to work with just one strand on size 4 needles, without the need to hold multiple threads together. It is also well suited for machine knitting. A wonderful choice for those who would like to experience cashmere in a practical, wearable blend — perfect for refined, high-end knitwear with timeless appeal.

However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.

FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
