⌁ Texture & Feel
SIBERIA offers a velvety, soft texture with excellent warmth and breathability. The cashmere provides luxurious softness and a gentle hand, while the merino adds elasticity, durability, and structure. The finished fabric feels smooth, cozy, and naturally insulating without heaviness. Ideal for everyday luxury pieces and refined, long-lasting garments.

➤ Recommended Uses
Perfect for:
• Sweaters and cardigans
• Warm hats, scarves, and gloves
• Luxury children’s knits
• Textured stitches and cables
• Everyday wear with premium softness and comfort

✧ Blending Recommendations
Pairs beautifully with:
• Silk — adds drape and subtle sheen
• Cashmere — deepens softness and luxury
• Merino — increases resilience and stitch definition
• Mohair — adds halo and loft
• Alpaca — enhances warmth and body
Use SIBERIA alone for clean stitchwork or blend with a fine strand of silk, cashmere, or mohair for extra depth and refinement.

⋔ Recommended Needles & Hooks
Knitting Needles: 3.75–4.5 mm (US 5–7), depending on gauge and fabric density
Crochet Hooks: 4.0–5.0 mm
Suitable for colorwork, cables, textured patterns, and smooth stockinette.

⫯ Estimated Yarn Usage
• Sweater (Size M): 300–450 g
• Cardigan: 350–500 g
• Hat: 50–80 g
• Scarf or Cowl: 150–250 g
• Baby Garments: 80–150 g
Usage may vary depending on style and stitch pattern.

⟳ Weaving Recommendations
SIBERIA performs beautifully as weft in soft, warm woven fabrics.
• Single strand — smooth, lightweight cloth with excellent warmth
• Double strand — fuller, cushioned textiles with rich body
• Best paired with strong, twisted wool, silk, or merino warps
• Not recommended for warp alone due to cashmere’s shorter staple length
Suggested Sett (EPI): 8–12 depending on density and softness desired.

⚑ Care Instructions
• Hand wash gently in cold water
• Use mild wool detergent
• Do not wring
• Lay flat to dry
• Cashmere–merino blends soften beautifully after washing

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEACE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
