An extraordinary luxury yarn from Loro Piana, combining 80% cashmere with 20% chinchilla fiber. This exceptionally unusual composition brings together two precious animal fibers in a fine, delicately textured Italian yarn. Chinchilla is rarely encountered in hand-knitting yarns, making this a particularly special find for collectors and knitters who appreciate distinctive luxury materials.
What makes this yarn remarkable is not only its rare composition but also its understated elegance. Its natural shade, fine structure, and soft, delicate appearance create a sense of quiet luxury without unnecessary embellishment. A beautiful choice for sophisticated, lightweight knitwear, timeless accessories, and projects where the quality and character of the fiber take center stage.

Why This Yarn Is Special:
Cashmere is already one of the most treasured luxury fibers in the world, but finding it blended with chinchilla is exceptionally unusual. Unlike familiar cashmere-silk or cashmere-mohair combinations, this rare 80/20 blend offers a distinctive fiber composition seldom seen in yarn collections.
Produced by Loro Piana, this yarn is an opportunity to work with a truly uncommon material. Its natural color and ultra-fine count make it especially appealing for minimalist luxury knitwear, where the beauty of the fiber itself becomes the defining feature.
