This Italian fashion yarn from FABIANA FILIPPI is a structured cotton blend yarn designed for makers who want fabric with shape, strength, texture, and a polished designer look. With approximately 400 meters per 100 g, this fingering-weight yarn is especially beautiful for tweed-inspired fabrics, structured coats, hats, bags, crochet projects, and companion-yarn blending.

I personally knitted with this yarn and, even after washing, I would not describe it as a luxury-soft or very drapey yarn. Its real strength is different: it creates a very nice, strong knitted fabric with structure and body. That makes it perfect for projects where you want the finished piece to look more like real fashion fabric — structured, textured, and intentional — rather than soft flowing knitwear.

The cotton gives breathability and stitch definition, while polyester helps with stability, durability, and shape retention. This is a great yarn for creating modern fabric-like knitwear, especially Chanel-inspired and tweed-style effects when paired with other yarns.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
