Yarn is sold in balls by default. If you’re purchasing a full cone, it stays on its original cone at no extra charge. For yarn sold in wound weights, cones are not included in the yarn price — but we can wind your yarn onto cones upon request. Cones can be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects (typically one color per cone).This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone.
