▣ Quality & Origin Note
This is high-grade Chinese cashmere produced specifically for Italian and European luxury fashion houses.
Such yarns are manufactured under private-label (OEM) contracts, meaning the producing mills are not permitted to disclose or market their own names. When released through the Italian stock market, original mill labels are typically removed or replaced with internal Italian supplier codes.
This is a standard and well-established practice in the high-end fashion industry.

Texture & Feel
Soft, lightweight, and elegant, with the natural softness and loft of pure cashmere. The extra-fine count and balanced 2-ply structure offer fluid drape and refined stitch definition while maintaining warmth and comfort.

Important Working Note
Single strand is NOT recommended. This is an extra-fine lace yarn and should be held in multiple strands to achieve proper fabric density, stability, and wearability.

Recommended Strand Pairing (Hand Knitting)
• 3 strands: ~600 m / 100 g — still very fine, suitable only for very open lace
• 4 strands: ~450 m / 100 g — fine fabric, light and delicate
• 5 strands: ~360 m / 100 g — minimum practical starting point for garments
• 6 strands: ~300 m / 100 g — comfortable for sweaters and cardigans
• 7–8 strands: ~225–260 m / 100 g — sport to light DK feel
Swatching is strongly recommended.

Recommended Uses
• Sweaters, cardigans, vests (held 5–8 strands)
• Scarves, shawls, and wraps (held 4–6 strands depending on openness)
• Hats and accessories with a soft, elevated finish
• Luxury garments worn close to the skin

Recommended Needles (Guideline)
• 5 strands: approx. 3.5–4.0 mm
• 6 strands: approx. 4.0–4.5 mm
• 7–8 strands: approx. 4.5–5.0 mm
Needle size depends on strand count and desired fabric density.

Estimated Yarn Usage (Approximate)
• Hat: 80–150 g (held 5–7 strands)
• Scarf: 150–250 g (held 5–7 strands)
• Sweater (S–M): 350–500 g (held 5–7 strands)
• Sweater (L–XL): 500–650 g (held 5–7 strands)
• Cardigan: 450–750 g (held 5–8 strands)

Weaving Suitability
Suitable for weaving when used with multiple ends together. Sampling and wet finishing are essential to determine final hand and structure.

Care Instructions
Hand wash cold with gentle cashmere detergent.
Do not wring or twist.
Lay flat to dry.
Block gently if needed.

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEACE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
