SEQUINS is a luxury Italian micro-paillettes yarn designed to add refined sparkle, elegant movement, and sophisticated shine to knitwear, crochet, weaving, and fashion accessories. Unlike bulky sequin yarns, this lightweight corded yarn features tiny multicolor micro-paillettes that create a soft, luminous glow while preserving drape, flexibility, and comfort.

This is the type of yarn often used to create the subtle luxury sparkle associated with modern Italian knitwear and Cucinelli-inspired fashion. Beautiful on its own and exceptional as a companion yarn, SEQUINS instantly elevates merino, alpaca, mohair, silk, cashmere, cotton, and linen projects without overwhelming the fabric.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
Many sequin yarns create sparkle but sacrifice softness and wearability.

SEQUINS was designed differently.

The smooth corded structure allows the paillettes to move naturally with the fabric, creating elegant light reflection while maintaining flexibility and drape.

This yarn adds:
• subtle luxury sparkle
• refined texture
• movement and dimension
• evening elegance
• designer-style visual interest
• modern fashion appeal

It is particularly well suited for knitters who love understated luxury rather than heavy embellishment.

The effect is often associated with:
• modern Italian knitwear
• luxury boutique garments
• Cucinelli-inspired styling
• contemporary layering pieces
• elevated everyday fashion

✧ Fiber Profile
• 100% Polyester

➤ IMPORTANT — Yarn Usage
SEQUINS is beautiful both as a standalone yarn and as a companion yarn.

Used alone, it creates:

Held together with another yarn, it adds:
• sparkle
• texture
• luxury character
• visual depth
• refined light reflection

For a balanced luxury effect, I generally recommend holding one strand of SEQUINS together with one or two strands of your base yarn.

This yarn pairs exceptionally well with:
• merino wool
• baby alpaca
• silk
• silk mohair
• cashmere
• linen
• cotton

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
