YOU CAN BUY CONES HERE

📍 CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE.
Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover the shipping cost associated with different packaging sizes and the self-cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

🧶 Weight & Yardage Variation:
Please note that the yardage varies by color batch:
- WHITE: 1500m/100g (1640 yards)
- ANTIQUE ROSE, BLUE, AND ORCHID: 1000m/100g (1093 yards)

✨ Texture & Feel:
This is a VERY SOFT, FLUFFY thread that delivers an unparalleled sensory experience (rated 9.5−10 out of 10). The high Alpaca content ensures superb warmth and a beautiful, soft halo, while the Polyester component provides stability and excellent stitch definition, making it suitable for delicate, luxurious garments.

🧶 A Note from the Knitter
This yarn is a true standout in RiGo's Luxury Collection. Its exceptionally fine spin allows it to be used as a delicate lace weight or combined into a wonderfully fluffy, lightweight fabric for heavier garments. It is the perfect choice for creating pieces that are both weightless and incredibly warm.

🧶 Recommended Use:
Perfect for creating luxurious, lightweight, and warm accessories and garments:
• Single Strand (Lace Weight): Ideal for exceptionally delicate shawls, scarves, or fine layering pieces.
• Held Double/Triple: Use multiple strands for cloud-soft sweaters and cardigans that have a beautiful halo and excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.
• Held With Other Yarns: Combine with a smoother yarn to introduce immediate warmth, texture, and a soft halo without adding bulk.

🧶 Knitting with Multiple Strands
To achieve heavier weights and optimize coziness, this yarn is often held double or triple:
- To achieve Light Fingering Weight (≈500m/100g): Use 2 strands of the 1000m colors, or 3 strands of the 1500m White color.
- To achieve Fingering Weight (≈333m/100g): Use 3 strands of the 1000m colors.

🧶Recommendations for Weaving:
This yarn is best utilized as a weft yarn, where its softness and high loft can be maximized to create luxurious, warm, and lightweight scarves, shawls, or throws. Its delicate nature makes it generally unsuitable for warp.

🧶 Recommended Needles & Hooks (Based on 3-Ply Knitting - Creating Fingering Weight):
• For knitting with three threads of the 1000m colors (creating a Fingering weight), we recommend 2.5–3.5 mm (US 1.5–4) needles. The general gauge is 24–28 stitches per 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch. Use the smaller end of the range (2.5mm) for a denser, more structured fabric, and the larger end (3.5mm) for a softer, loftier drape.
• For crochet, use hooks in the range of 2.5–3.5 mm (C-2 to E-4).

📏 Estimated Usage:
• Fine Shawl (Single Strand): 50–100g
• Sweater (3-Ply Fingering): 300–400g

📍Care Instructions:
• Hand wash gently in cool water with a detergent suitable for fine animal fibers.
• Reshape and lay flat to dry.
• Do not wring or twist.

📍 Please note:
Most yarn prepared on cones for machine knitting is lightly waxed to ensure smooth running. Once knit, it should be washed to reveal its true softness. This yarn is perfect for both hand and machine knitting, highly recommended for creating premium-quality knitwear.

📸 Please Note:
• The amount of yarn shown on cones in the photos may not reflect the actual quantity you’ll receive. Yarn is custom-wound per your order.
• Colors are photographed in natural lighting but may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings. I recommend zooming in on each photo to fully appreciate the beauty and texture of the yarn.
• ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to the winding process.
• Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
