⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
Cashmere Donegal offers the rare balance of softness, warmth, and visual character. The pure cashmere brings gentle luxury, feather-light warmth, and an exceptionally soft hand, while the Donegal-style texture gives the yarn a more relaxed, timeless, and sophisticated look.

Its DK / Worsted construction makes it especially attractive for knitters and crocheters who want the beauty of cashmere in a yarn that is ready to use in a single strand. It is ideal for creating cozy, elevated garments and accessories with softness, warmth, and refined rustic charm.

⌁ Texture & Feel

✧ Luxury Fiber Profile — Pure Cashmere
This yarn is spun from one of the most loved fibers in fine knitwear.

Cashmere adds:
• Exceptional softness
• Gentle warmth
• A luxurious hand feel
• Elegant lightness

Together, they create a yarn that feels soft and refined, yet more characterful and textured than a very smooth cashmere yarn. This makes Cashmere Donegal an excellent choice for garments and accessories that are meant to be both luxurious and timeless.

⟳ Care Instructions
• Hand wash or gentle machine wash cold with a mild wool or cashmere detergent
• Do not wring
• Lay flat to dry
• Please keep in mind that cone yarns — especially cashmere — often contain a noticeable amount of wax added during production to protect the fibers and ensure smooth performance on industrial knitting machines
• A few washes may be required to fully remove the wax and allow the cashmere to fully bloom into its softest, most luxurious state
• Each wash enhances the natural halo and softens the final fabric beautifully
• Treat this yarn with gentle care to preserve its natural softness and quality

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.
