Cashmere Tweed Yarn by Cariaggi NEW HARRIS is a rare luxury Italian fingering weight yarn made from 100% pure cashmere, with approximately 400 meters per 100 g. This exceptional tweed cashmere combines the softness and warmth of premium Italian cashmere with the timeless character of classic tweed texture.

The base color is a sophisticated taupe melange with subtle light green tweed flecks that create depth, richness, and a refined natural look. This is not loud or rustic tweed — it is elegant luxury tweed with a very soft, understated appearance typical of high-end Italian knitwear.

I knitted my sample using US size 4 needles in a single strand and washed it twice. After each wash, the fabric became noticeably softer, fuller, and slightly puffier. This yarn truly blooms beautifully with washing and wear, developing an even softer and more luxurious hand over time.

This yarn is especially perfect for people sensitive to traditional wool yarns or those who prefer soft, non-itchy luxury fibers.

One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
