CASHAIR is the kind of yarn that makes you want to cast on a sweater immediately. The Grey Melange color is classic, unisex, and effortlessly elegant, while the luxurious blend of 95% Cashmere and 5% Camel Hair creates fabric that feels soft, warm, and incredibly comfortable against the skin. This is not a delicate "special occasion" yarn that sits in the closet. It is the kind of luxury yarn that turns into garments you reach for again and again.
What impressed me most was how easy it was to knit. My sample was worked in a single strand on US 4 (3.5 mm) needles and produced an even, refined fabric with excellent stitch definition. After washing, the swatch opened beautifully, became noticeably softer and loftier, and developed a lovely halo while maintaining a clean, polished appearance. One strand is enough for lightweight luxury knitwear, while two strands create a more classic cashmere fabric with additional warmth and structure.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
Most cashmere yarns sell because of the fiber content. CASHAIR stands out because of the finished fabric.
The small amount of camel hair adds depth, warmth, and character without taking away from the softness of the cashmere. The Grey Melange color creates natural visual interest, allowing even simple stockinette to look sophisticated and expensive.
The carded construction gives the yarn a softer and more relaxed personality than tightly combed yarns, creating fabric that feels luxurious but never overly formal.

⚑ FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.
⚑ FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.
PLEASE BUY CONES HERE
Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.
Please Note
Please Note
- Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
- Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
- FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
- Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
