CASHSILK is the kind of yarn I would recommend to knitters who love cashmere but want a fabric that is easier to wear through more seasons. The 50% Cashmere / 50% Silk blend creates a beautiful balance: softer and warmer than pure silk, but lighter, more breathable, and more fluid than many traditional cashmere yarns. If pure cashmere sometimes feels too warm and silk alone feels too crisp, CASHSILK sits beautifully between the two.

This yarn is especially attractive for lightweight luxury knitwear: elegant sweaters, cardigans, tops, shawls, and layering pieces that feel refined but not overly delicate. At 1300m per 100g, it gives knitters flexibility — use it in multiple strands by itself for soft garments, or hold it together with another yarn to add cashmere softness, silk drape, and a more polished finished fabric.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
CASHSILK is not just a luxury blend — it is a very wearable luxury blend. The cashmere gives softness, warmth, and comfort, while the silk adds strength, movement, and elegant drape. Together they create fabric that feels luxurious without becoming heavy or overly warm.

The 2-ply carded structure gives the yarn a softer, more relaxed character than a tightly polished yarn. This is useful for knitters because the finished fabric feels natural, elegant, and forgiving while still looking refined.

This is a strong choice for knitters who want luxury fibers for garments they will actually wear often, not just save for special occasions.

✦ Fiber Preparation
• 2-ply carded construction
• Softer, airier hand than tightly combed yarns
• Creates a more relaxed luxury fabric
• Helps the yarn feel warmer and softer in the finished project

➤ IMPORTANT — Yarn Usage
CASHSILK can be used in two very practical ways:

• In multiple strands by itself for lightweight luxury garments
• As a companion yarn to improve softness, drape, and comfort

Best for:
• Sweaters
• Cardigans
• Lightweight tops
• Shawls and wraps
• Scarves
• Layering pieces
• Luxury baby garments

This yarn is especially good for knitters who want the softness of cashmere with the elegance and movement of silk.

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
