CLAN is one of those rare yarns that makes expensive-looking knitwear almost effortless. The combination of 85% cashmere and 15% Superkid Mohair creates fabric that is soft, lightweight, elegant, and remarkably wearable. Unlike heavily brushed mohair yarns, CLAN produces a refined halo that enhances the fabric without hiding your stitches, making it equally beautiful in simple stockinette, textured patterns, and classic wardrobe pieces.

If I had to describe CLAN in one sentence, I would call it a "quiet luxury" yarn. It doesn't rely on dramatic texture or excessive fluffiness. Instead, it creates the type of fabric that feels wonderful every time you wear it—soft against the skin, lightweight yet warm, and sophisticated enough to become a long-term favorite in your wardrobe. This is exactly the kind of yarn I would choose for sweaters and cardigans that I plan to wear for many years.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
Many cashmere yarns are wonderfully soft but can feel visually flat. Many mohair yarns create beautiful halo but can overwhelm stitch definition. CLAN balances both worlds exceptionally well.

The high cashmere content creates softness, comfort, and warmth, while the Superkid Mohair adds dimension, airiness, and structure. The result is fabric that looks luxurious without trying too hard and remains wearable season after season.

One of the things I like most about CLAN is that it works equally well for classic knitters and modern knitters. Whether you're making a timeless crewneck sweater, a relaxed cardigan, or an oversized contemporary pullover, the yarn adapts beautifully.

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
