Cashmere Silk Yarn by FILCOM RITA is an extraordinary luxury Italian lace weight yarn made from 60% Cashmere and 40% Silk, with approximately 700 meters per 100 g. This refined Italian blend combines the buttery softness and warmth of premium cashmere with the luminous elegance and fluid drape of silk, creating an exceptionally sophisticated yarn for heirloom-quality knitwear and accessories.
This yarn feels incredibly soft, smooth, airy, and elegant in the hand. The silk gives the fabric graceful movement and subtle natural sheen, while the cashmere creates warmth, softness, and a beautifully luxurious bloom.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
RITA is a truly elevated luxury blend. Cashmere and silk together create one of the most elegant yarn combinations in the world of fine knitting.
Cashmere adds softness, warmth, and airy bloom, while silk contributes drape, luminosity, strength, and sophistication. Together they create fabric that feels delicate yet rich, lightweight yet luxurious.
Unlike heavier winter yarns, this blend creates refined wearable luxury that works beautifully across seasons. The resulting fabric feels soft and fluid against the skin and develops a timeless designer-quality appearance.
This is the type of yarn that transforms even simple stitches into elegant high-end knitwear.

➤ IMPORTANT — Yarn Usage
This is a fine lace-weight yarn. In a single strand, it creates delicate, airy fabric perfect for lace shawls, wraps, lightweight scarves, layering garments, and elegant accessories.
For sweaters, cardigans, and more practical garments, many knitters may prefer holding 2 strands together to create fuller fabric while preserving softness and drape.
This yarn is also exceptional for machine knitting, weaving, crochet, and luxury mixed-strand projects.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE
Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.
Please Note
Please Note
- Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
- Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
- FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
- Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
