➤ My First Impressions:
I really enjoyed working with this yarn. I knitted my swatch on US Size 8 (5.0 mm) needles, and from the very first rows it was simply fun to knit. The yarn glides smoothly on the needles, and despite its textured construction, it never feels difficult to control.
After washing, I expected the mohair to bloom quite a bit, but instead the fabric surprised me in a different way. It simply relaxed. The stitches became more even, the fabric softened noticeably, and everything opened up beautifully while keeping the same lovely texture.
One thing I especially love is the balance between the gentle mohair halo and the colorful fiber flecks. The halo softens the fabric without hiding the stitch definition, while the flecks create beautiful depth and movement throughout the knitted fabric. Together with the slightly uneven strand, they give this yarn a sophisticated tweed-inspired character that feels modern rather than rustic.
I was also pleasantly surprised by how soft it feels. I would happily recommend it for children's garments (although, because of the mohair content, I would personally reserve it for older children rather than newborns).
This is also a wonderful yarn for experimenting. It looks beautiful on its own, but I can also imagine pairing it with a fine lace-weight mohair for an even airier fabric on larger needles, with fine Merino for extra warmth, or even with an eyelash-style "Grass" yarn for unique textured projects.
By the time I finished my swatch, I already had several new project ideas in mind—and to me, that's always the best compliment a yarn can receive.

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.
Please Note
Please Note
- Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
- Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
- FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
- Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
