Yes — this yarn is manufactured in China, which is one of the world’s primary sources of premium cashmere fiber. Most luxury cashmere used by Italian mills and European fashion houses originates from goats raised in China and Mongolia. The final quality depends not only on the origin of the fiber, but also on fiber selection, sorting, spinning technology, processing, and finishing standards.

What impressed me personally about this yarn was the actual knitting experience. I knitted a sample using US size 4 needles, and the yarn was surprisingly easy and pleasant to work with. After the very first wash, the fabric opened beautifully, developed a soft elegant halo, and even the small uneven areas and tiny knots relaxed into a much more refined and cohesive fabric. The final result feels soft, lightweight, elevated, and truly luxurious.

Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
