VIGOGNA is an exceptionally refined Italian yarn manufactured by RiGo in Italy, created from a balanced blend of cashmere and merino wool. This extra-fine lace yarn combines the softness and quiet luxury of cashmere with the resilience, elasticity, and everyday practicality of merino, resulting in a beautifully versatile base for sophisticated knitwear.

Because VIGOGNA is spun in a very fine 2/23 lace-weight construction, it offers excellent flexibility for makers who like to control the final fabric through strand count. Worked in multiple strands, it creates lightweight yet comforting fabrics with softness, warmth, and graceful drape. ⚑ FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.

FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
