If you love rich, sophisticated colors, SIRIO is the kind of yarn that instantly stands out. The beautiful Vino Melange shade blends wine, berry, plum, and burgundy tones into a luxurious heathered color that gives finished garments remarkable depth and elegance. Combined with 85% Merino Wool and 15% Cashmere, this Italian lace-weight yarn creates soft, lightweight fabric with gentle halo, beautiful drape, and the kind of comfort that makes you reach for the same sweater again and again.

One of the things I love most about SIRIO is its versatility. Hold four strands together and it becomes a beautiful sport-weight yarn for sweaters and cardigans. Use it as a companion yarn and it instantly adds softness, warmth, and a more luxurious finish to another fiber. After washing, the fabric becomes noticeably softer and develops the relaxed, refined character that knitters love in premium Italian cashmere blends.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special

SIRIO is the type of yarn that earns a permanent place in a knitter's collection because it can do so many things well.

Use it alone in multiple strands and it creates elegant garments with softness, warmth, and beautiful movement. Use it as a companion yarn and it transforms another yarn by adding softness, a subtle halo, and a more luxurious finished fabric.

The Vino Melange color is another standout feature. The heathered effect creates natural depth that makes even simple stockinette look rich, sophisticated, and expensive.

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
