Why This Yarn Is Special
• Premium cashmere for softness, cotton for stability and breathability
• Extra-fine construction with very high meterage
• Designed for multi-strand knitting and weaving
• Lightweight, elegant fabric without bulk
• Scottish luxury spinning heritage

Texture & Feel
Smooth, dry-clean to the touch, and refined. The cashmere softens the hand while the cotton keeps the structure crisp and wearable. After washing and blocking, the fabric relaxes and gains fluid drape without losing definition.

Recommended Strand Pairing (IMPORTANT)
Single strand is NOT recommended (extra-fine yarn)
• 2 strands: ~900 m / 100 g (true lace fabric)
• 3 strands: ~600 m / 100 g (lace → light fingering)
• 4 strands: ~450 m / 100 g (light fingering)
• Swatching is strongly recommended

Recommended Uses
• Lightweight sweaters, tops, and cardigans
• Shawls, wraps, and stoles
• Fine-gauge garments worn close to the skin
• Layered pieces with controlled drape
• Elegant accessories with a refined finish

Recommended Needles (Guideline)
• 2 strands: approx. 2.5–3.0 mm
• 3 strands: approx. 3.0–3.75 mm
• 4 strands: approx. 3.5–4.5 mm
• Always swatch to achieve desired fabric density

Yarn Usage (Approximate)
• Shawl or wrap: 120–180 g (held 2–4 strands)
• Sweater (S–M): 300–400 g (held 3–4 strands)
• Sweater (L–XL): 400–500 g (held 3–4 strands)

Weaving Suggestions
• Suitable for weaving with careful tension control
• Use multiple ends together to create stable cloth
• Produces lightweight, breathable woven fabrics
• Wet finishing enhances softness and evens structure

Why You’ll Love It
ODYSSEY is a quiet luxury yarn — ultra-fine, breathable, and versatile. Its cashmere–cotton blend and Scottish craftsmanship make it ideal for knitters and weavers who value precision, comfort, and understated elegance built strand by strand.

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEACE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
