BUBBLE by Lineapiu Italia is a luxury Italian DK weight yarn with an exceptionally soft, airy, and voluminous structure created from alpaca, merino wool, and lightweight fashion fibers. With approximately 220 meters per 100 g, this yarn creates warm yet surprisingly weightless knitwear with beautiful puffiness, soft halo, and modern Italian fashion texture.
This is not a dense heavy winter yarn. BUBBLE feels light, soft, and cloud-like while still creating beautifully full fabric with impressive volume and warmth. The airy structure traps warmth without heaviness, while the alpaca and merino add softness, elegant halo, and a refined luxury feel.
The result is cozy, modern, and extremely wearable knitwear that looks expensive and stylish even in very simple stitches.
Lineapiu Italia is one of Italy’s best-known fashion yarn manufacturers, specializing in innovative luxury yarns and modern textile development for high-end knitwear collections.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
BUBBLE was developed in the signature Italian fashion-yarn style that makes knitwear look voluminous, soft, and luxurious without becoming bulky or heavy.
The alpaca creates warmth and softness, merino adds comfort and elasticity, while the lightweight synthetic structure helps maintain volume, durability, and the airy cloud-like effect that makes this yarn so visually attractive.
This type of yarn is especially popular in modern Italian knitwear because it creates:
• oversized luxury silhouettes
• cozy soft texture
• modern relaxed drape
• effortless expensive-looking knitwear
Even simple stockinette looks rich and dimensional with this yarn.
The airy structure also makes it beginner-friendly because the puffiness helps soften and visually hide small knitting imperfections while still creating beautiful finished fabric.
Comparable Lineapiu Bubble yarn references online show approximately 220m per 100g, confirming the DK/lightweight blown-brush structure.
✧ Fiber Profile
• Alpaca — softness, warmth, airy halo
• Merino Wool — elasticity, comfort, and softness
• Polyester — lightweight structure and volume support
• Polyamide — durability and stability
• Combined Blend — soft voluminous luxury fabric without excessive weight
➤ IMPORTANT — Yarn Usage
BUBBLE is ideal for oversized cardigans, relaxed sweaters, modern scarves, cowls, soft winter accessories, fashion crochet garments, and contemporary textured knitwear.
I knitted my sample using US size 11 needles, and the knitting process was extremely easy, fast, and enjoyable. The yarn creates a very puffy, airy, lightweight fabric even by itself, so simple stitches are enough to show its texture and volume beautifully.
After washing, there were almost no major visual changes because the yarn is already incredibly fluffy and voluminous straight from the cone.
I can also see BUBBLE combined with a heavier companion yarn such as merino, silk, paillettes, or lurex to add more depth, structure, sparkle, and character.
Overall, I truly enjoyed working with this yarn. It is soft, modern, stylish, beginner-friendly, and creates beautiful textured knitwear very quickly.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE
Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.
Please Note
Please Note
- Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
- Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
- FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
- Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
