➤ My First Impressions
Although I haven't knitted with this particular article yet, I have worked with many luxury yarns from BIAGIOLI MODESTO, and their quality has always been outstanding. Knowing the reputation of this Italian spinning mill, I am confident this yarn belongs to the same exceptional standard.

The first thing that impressed me was its incredibly deep, rich black color. It has a true luxury appearance that immediately stands out. The yarn feels refined and slightly dry to the touch, which is exactly what I expect from a premium merino-rich spinning yarn before washing.

From my experience with similar luxury fibers, I expect this yarn to transform beautifully after its first wash. The merino will relax, the fabric will soften, and the cashmere will bloom, developing a delicate halo that gives finished garments the elegant appearance normally associated with much higher cashmere content.

If you've always wanted to knit with cashmere but aren't ready to invest in 100% cashmere, I highly recommend this yarn. CASHMERE 10 offers an outstanding balance of luxury, softness, durability, and value, making it possible to create extraordinary knitwear while staying within your budget.

✦ Texture & Feel:
Smooth, refined, and beautifully balanced. Premium merino provides elasticity, durability, and excellent stitch definition, while cashmere contributes luxurious softness and a delicate halo that becomes even more beautiful after washing. The finished fabric is lightweight, warm, breathable, and wonderfully comfortable against the skin.

➤ Recommended Uses:
Ideal for elegant sweaters, lightweight cardigans, pullovers, shawls, scarves, wraps, hats, cowls, gloves, children's garments, and sophisticated everyday knitwear. Perfect for holding multiple strands together to achieve virtually any yarn weight.

✧ Tips & Recommendations:
Because of its lace construction, CASHMERE 10 is extremely versatile. Knit it with one strand for delicate lace fabrics or combine multiple strands to create Fingering, Sport, DK, Worsted, Aran, or Chunky weight projects while maintaining beautiful softness and excellent stitch definition.

➤ Recommended Needles/Hooks:
• Knitting: Select needle size according to the number of strands held together and your desired fabric.
• Crochet: Select hook size according to your preferred gauge.
• Always knit a swatch before beginning your project.

➤ Weaving Suitability:
Excellent for both warp and weft weaving. The merino provides strength and stability, while the cashmere adds softness and luxurious comfort to woven fabrics.

⋔ Recommended Yarn Usage:
• Sweater (M): 300–500g depending on the number of strands used
• Cardigan: 350–550g
• Shawl: 150–250g
• Scarf: 120–220g

⟳ Care Instructions:
• Hand wash gently in cold water with mild wool detergent
• Do not wring or twist
• Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight
• Store folded rather than hanging
• Proper washing allows the fibers to relax, soften, and develop their beautiful natural halo.

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
