A cloud of cashmere with beautiful bouclé texture!

What makes this CARIAGGI yarn so special? Its generous, fluffy loops! Made in Italy from 93% cashmere and 7% silk, this beautiful bouclé creates a soft, plush fabric with wonderful volume and a distinctive, softly textured surface. The loops do the decorative work for you, so even the simplest knitting can look rich and interesting.

With 140 meters per 100 grams, this is a substantial, chunky-style bouclé that makes a lovely choice for cozy knitwear. Imagine a relaxed sweater, an oversized scarf, or a soft cardigan with a beautiful, cloud-like finish. The silk adds another fine fiber to the cashmere-rich blend, while the bouclé construction gives the yarn its characteristic texture.

Knitting Suggestions
• 1 strand: 140m/100g — Chunky / Bulky-style bouclé. Start with US 9–11 (5.5–8 mm), adjusting for the openness and drape you prefer.
• Simple stitches: Stockinette and garter stitch are excellent choices for showcasing the loops without competing with the yarn's texture.
• Fabric character: Try a slightly looser gauge for an airy, softly draping fabric or a firmer gauge for more structure.
• Stitch definition: Intricate cables and detailed lace patterns may be difficult to see beneath the bouclé loops.

Needles & Care
• Knitting Needles: US 9–11 (5.5–8 mm), suggested starting range.
• Crochet Hook: 6–8 mm, suggested starting range.
• Care: Gently hand wash in cool water with a cashmere-friendly detergent. Do not rub or wring. Lay flat to dry.
• Swatch: Wash and dry your swatch before measuring gauge. The bouclé loops can affect stitch visibility, fabric density, and the finished appearance.

Suggested Projects
For a statement piece, consider a relaxed cashmere sweater or an oversized cardigan with a simple silhouette that lets the texture take center stage. A generously sized scarf or cowl would also make beautiful use of the plush loops, creating warmth and softness without elaborate stitchwork.

For smaller projects, try a soft winter hat or a simple neck warmer. This is a yarn where the texture itself becomes the design — perfect when you want something distinctive without a complicated pattern.

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

⚑ FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

⚑ FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
