Both yarns belong to the same luxurious Cariaggi cashmere chain family, but PIUMINO is lighter and finer, making it especially attractive for elegant sweaters, cardigans, shawls, scarves, and refined layering pieces.
This is not a traditional spun cashmere yarn. PIUMINO has a fine chainette construction that traps air inside the yarn, creating softness, loft, warmth, and volume without unnecessary weight. After washing, the yarn blooms beautifully, becoming fuller, softer, and even more refined. This yarn is sold as is on original mill cones, without unwinding.
