Cashmere Alpaca Yarn from an Exclusive Italian Mill is a rare luxury Italian lace weight yarn made from 60% Cashmere and 40% Alpaca, with approximately 2600 meters per 100 g. This exquisite ultra-fine industrial construction yarn offers softness, warmth, delicate halo, and complex multicolor depth in an exceptionally refined Italian-made fiber.

This yarn features expertly blended multicolor combinations with rich visual movement and sophisticated tonal depth. Cashmere gives the yarn softness, elegance, and a refined hand, while alpaca adds warmth, airy halo, and gentle structure. The result is a lightweight luxury yarn designed for multi-strand knitting, blending, machine knitting, weaving, and couture-style textile work.

Because this yarn is extremely fine, it is not intended for single-strand hand knitting. It is best used in multiple strands or held together with other yarns to create custom fabrics with controlled density, drape, opacity, warmth, and visual texture.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
This luxury Italian yarn stands out because of its exceptional fiber blend and complex multicolor construction. The cashmere content gives the yarn softness, elegance, and comfort, while alpaca adds warmth, light halo, and subtle structure.

The colorways are especially beautiful because they are not flat or simple. Each shade is created with multiple tones blended together, producing depth, movement, and a sophisticated couture-style appearance in the finished fabric.

Used correctly in multiple strands or as a companion yarn, this yarn can produce soft, airy, refined fabrics with rich visual texture and luxury warmth.

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
