Cashmere Yarn from an Exclusive Italian Mill is an exceptionally refined luxury Italian lace weight yarn made from 100% Extra Fine Cashmere, with approximately 1350 meters per 100 g. This featherlight Nm 2/27 yarn offers extraordinary softness, elegant bloom, and the airy cloud-like texture associated with the finest Italian cashmere spinning traditions.

This is a true couture-level cashmere yarn designed for knitters and makers who appreciate softness, luxury, and the beauty of ultra-fine fiber. Delicate, weightless, and incredibly elegant, this yarn blooms beautifully after washing, becoming softer, fuller, and more atmospheric with every wash.

Because of its extra-fine construction, this yarn is best used held together in multiple strands or blended with other luxury fibers to create sophisticated fabrics with softness, warmth, and elegant drape.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
This is an ultra-fine Italian cashmere yarn intended for truly refined luxury knitwear and textile projects.

Unlike thicker ready-to-knit yarns, Nm 2/27 cashmere offers incredible flexibility for creating custom fabrics. It allows knitters to control softness, drape, density, and warmth simply by adjusting strand count or pairing it with other fibers.

This yarn is especially appealing for knitters who enjoy building luxurious layered fabrics. When held together in multiple strands, it creates incredibly soft, airy garments with elegant movement and timeless understated luxury.

The resulting fabric feels light as air while still delivering the warmth and comfort only fine cashmere can provide.

➤ IMPORTANT — Yarn Usage
This is an extremely delicate Nm 2/27 cashmere yarn and is not intended for comfortable single-strand knitting or crochet.

For knitting or crochet, I strongly recommend:
• Holding 4–5 strands together
• Blending with mohair, silk, merino, or alpaca
• Using for multi-strand luxury garments and accessories

This approach creates fabrics with beautiful softness, warmth, loft, and elegant drape while preserving the refined lightness of the yarn.

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
