ELEGANCE is an ultra-fine 100% cashmere lace yarn created for European luxury fashion production and sourced through the Italian yarn stock market from established Italian suppliers. With approximately 1800 m per 100 g, this is an exceptionally fine cashmere thread designed for luxury blending, machine knitting, weaving, and multi-strand hand knitting when you want soft, refined, lightweight fabric with a beautiful cashmere halo.
This yarn is finer than the PRESTIGE 2/26 cashmere, making it especially valuable as a companion yarn. It can add softness, warmth, halo, and luxury feel to sweaters, cardigans, shawls, scarves, baby blankets, and multicolor projects without adding heavy thickness. Even a small amount can elevate another yarn and make the finished fabric feel more expensive.
Yes — this yarn is manufactured in China, which is one of the world’s primary sources of premium cashmere fiber. Most luxury cashmere used by Italian mills and European fashion houses originates from goats raised in China and Mongolia. The final quality depends not only on the origin of the fiber, but also on fiber selection, sorting, spinning technology, processing, and finishing standards.
What impressed me personally about this yarn was the actual knitting experience. I knitted a sample using US size 4 needles, and the yarn was surprisingly easy and pleasant to work with. After the very first wash, the fabric opened beautifully, developed a soft elegant halo, and even the small uneven areas and tiny knots relaxed into a much more refined and cohesive fabric. The final result feels soft, lightweight, elevated, and truly luxurious.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
ELEGANCE is a very fine Nm 2/36 cashmere yarn, making it ideal for knitters and makers who want full control over fabric thickness. Because it is so fine, you can hold multiple strands together, blend it with other yarns, or use it as a luxury companion thread to add softness and warmth without changing the project too heavily.
This yarn was produced for fashion-industry use and sourced from the Italian stock market. It offers a rare opportunity to work with high-quality cashmere at a more accessible price than branded Italian retail cashmere.

No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.
Please Note
Please Note
- Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
- Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
- FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
- Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
