This yarn has already been used for a beautiful full knitted dress, giving you a real example of what SETA BOURETTE can become rather than only a swatch.
The dress was knitted with one strand on US 2.5 (3.0 mm) needles. For a size S dress, approximately 235–240g of yarn was used — only about 940–960 meters (1,028–1,050 yards) for the entire garment.
The finished project beautifully demonstrates one of the advantages of this yarn: even a full-length garment can remain remarkably lightweight. The natural Bourette texture gives the fabric character without requiring a complicated yarn combination, while the fine Fingering Weight allows the knitted fabric to remain light and wearable.

➤ What Can I Make With It?
For a dress, summer top, tee, or lightweight sweater: use one strand. The finished dress shown in our Made with iDOKNiT project was knitted this way on US 2.5 (3.0 mm) needles.
For a more open, relaxed fabric: try a slightly larger needle and allow the Silk more room to drape. Always wash your swatch before deciding on the final gauge.
For additional body: hold two strands together. This gives approximately 200m/100g (219y/3.52oz) and creates a considerably more substantial fabric.
For a companion-yarn project: combine SETA BOURETTE with fine Linen, Cotton, Merino, Cashmere, or another Silk to change the structure, softness, warmth, or drape while preserving some of Bourette's distinctive matte texture.
Simple stockinette, garter stitch, ribbing, mesh, drop stitches, stripes, colorblocks, and uncomplicated openwork are particularly effective because this yarn already brings natural surface interest to the fabric.
