📌 I knit a sample using US No. 4 needles with one strand. The texture is rustic and slightly itchy (7.5-8 out of 10), but full of fascinating character. It’s the kind of yarn that truly speaks to knitters who appreciate artisan, one-of-a-kind materials.
After washing, it softened slightly and should continue to bloom with each wash. It knits up quickly and has great structure, which makes it perfect for jackets, coats, or bombers. For these types of garments, I’d definitely recommend using two strands. It layers beautifully but may be a bit rough directly against bare skin.
Personally, I really love this yarn—it’s very unique, very interesting, and unlike anything else. If you’re curious to try something different, this one’s absolutely worth it. And since it contains hemp, it’s naturally hypoallergenic—an excellent option for those with wool sensitivity or skin allergies.
