SUPERSOFT SS353 is a beautifully refined Italian lambswool yarn by KNOLL, spun in a delicate lace weight with an airy feel and a clean, smooth finish. Light yet resilient, it creates elegant fabric with excellent definition — perfect for lacework, lightweight layering pieces, and fine-gauge knitwear that still feels warm and natural. This is designer-house quality lambswool — the kind of fiber and finish you see in high-end European knitwear.
Despite its fine count, this yarn holds structure well and can be used as a single strand for sheer, refined projects or held double (or more) to build a denser fabric with more warmth and body. It’s a wonderful choice when you want softness, classic wool performance, and that timeless “European” finish.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
• Fine lace-weight lambswool with a soft, clean hand
• Lightweight warmth with beautiful breathability
• Excellent for single-strand lace or multi-strand fabrics
• Elegant stitch definition for delicate textures and details
It may feel a bit crisp or “wooly” at first — this is normal for fine, tightly spun 100% lambswool. The yarn softens noticeably after the first wash and blocking, developing a gentle bloom and a smoother, more comfortable hand. This is a classic lambswool feel (not cashmere-soft), ideal for knitwear that becomes better with wear and proper finishing.

⚑ FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.
⚑ FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.
PLEACE BUY CONES HERE
Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.
Please Note
Please Note
- Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
- Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
- FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
- Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
