Cashmere Merino Yarn by Exclusive Italian Mill LEGEND MALTINTO 3/27 is an exquisite luxury Italian lace-to-light fingering yarn made from 50% Merino Wool and 50% Cashmere, with approximately 900 meters per 100 g. This refined Italian yarn combines softness, warmth, elasticity, and elegant drape in a beautifully balanced construction designed for timeless luxury knitwear and sophisticated textile work.

LEGEND MALTINTO 3/27 features a delicate marl effect that gives the finished fabric subtle depth, dimension, and understated elegance. ⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
LEGEND MALTINTO 3/27 offers one of the most wearable and versatile luxury fiber combinations: the softness and elegance of cashmere balanced by the elasticity and durability of fine merino wool.

Unlike ultra-fine industrial lace yarns that require many strands, this yarn is much more practical and approachable for hand knitting while still preserving a refined luxury feel. It creates fabrics that feel soft, elevated, elegant, and timeless rather than trendy or overly delicate.

The marl construction gives the finished fabric subtle sophistication and visual richness without overwhelming the garment. Simple stitches become more dimensional, refined, and expensive-looking because the yarn itself carries depth and character.

This refined Italian yarn has the elegant, couture-quality feel associated with luxury fashion-house knitwear and timeless designer-style garments.

✧ Fiber Profile
• Cashmere: softness, warmth, halo, and luxury hand feel

Formats: Balls (BY DEFAULT) or Cones (PLEASE PURCHASE)

FOR FULL-CONE SALES, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE CONE. Yarn will remain on its original cone.

FOR YARN THAT IS NOT SOLD AS A FULL CONE BUT IN VARIOUS WOUND WEIGHTS, ALL YARN WILL BE WOUND INTO BALLS BY DEFAULT. CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

PLEASE BUY CONES HERE

Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover packaging differences and the actual cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

Please Note

  • Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
  • Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
  • FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
  • Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Shipping & Order Processing

Orders are prepared in the order received and typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom requests such as cone winding may require additional time. Multiple orders placed before shipment may be combined. Shipping refunds are not issued for combined orders.

We ship worldwide with tracking provided. As customs policies and tariffs can change frequently, any duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not collected by us at the time of purchase but are typically paid to your local postal service or customs office upon the arrival of your package.
