Discover the innovative comfort of PECCI FILATI KISS, a premium Italian chainette yarn that combines the natural breathability of cotton with the durability and gentle elasticity of polyamide. Unlike traditional cotton yarns, KISS features a modern chainette construction that creates lightweight, airy fabrics with beautiful stitch definition, excellent shape retention, and outstanding everyday comfort.
The unique hollow chain construction traps air within the yarn, producing garments that feel lighter than expected while maintaining beautiful body and structure. The result is knitwear that is comfortable to wear, easy to care for, and designed to keep its shape through everyday use.
With approximately 350 meters (383 yards) per 100g, KISS is ideal for sweaters, cardigans, polo sweaters, knitted T-shirts, children's garments, dresses, skirts, accessories, crochet, machine knitting, and weaving. It is equally beautiful knitted alone or paired with Kid Mohair, Cashmere, Silk, Alpaca, Fine Merino, Linen, or fantasy yarns to create fabrics with additional softness, warmth, texture, or halo.

⚑ Why This Yarn Is Special
Unlike traditional cotton yarns, KISS features an innovative chainette construction, where the fibers are knitted into a tiny tubular chain rather than twisted into a conventional strand. ✦ My Knitting Experience
I knitted two swatches using US Size 4 (3.5 mm) knitting needles to better understand how this yarn behaves in different stitch patterns and after washing.
For the first swatch, I used stockinette stitch with a small section of garter stitch. My goal was to see how the yarn performs in simple everyday knitting and how the different colors work together. Both stitch patterns looked beautiful, creating a smooth, even fabric with excellent stitch definition. This swatch also helped me discover one important characteristic of the yarn. I intentionally knitted several colors together, and after washing, I noticed that the bright red color released a small amount of dye because I accidentally washed the swatch in warm water. As you can see in my sample photos, a little color transferred onto the lighter section. The bleeding was minimal, but I highly recommend washing bright colors in cold water only to prevent this. The other colors I tested did not bleed.
For the second swatch, I experimented with ribbing, simple lace, and garter stitch to see how the yarn performs in more structured stitch patterns. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The ribbing holds its shape beautifully, while the lace opens nicely during knitting and then gently relaxes after washing thanks to the yarn's natural elasticity and excellent shape memory. The garter stitch creates a beautifully textured, even fabric with lovely dimension.
Another characteristic I noticed is how the yarn changes after washing. While wet, the fabric relaxed slightly and became a bit darker. Once completely dry, it gently recovered, becoming more compact while maintaining its beautiful stitch definition. This natural recovery gives the fabric excellent resilience and long-lasting shape retention.
One of the things I appreciate most about KISS is that it is a very forgiving yarn. If your stitch tension or row gauge is not perfectly even, the fabric improves noticeably after washing. The chainette construction helps smooth out minor imperfections, creating a polished, professional-looking result.
Overall, I truly enjoyed knitting with KISS. I especially recommend it for children's garments, as well as cardigans, knit T-shirts, skirts, knit pants, polo sweaters, and other structured everyday garments. The combination of breathable cotton, gentle elasticity, easy care, quick drying, and excellent shape retention makes it a yarn I can confidently recommend.

An excellent weaving yarn for lightweight apparel fabrics, scarves, shawls, and home textiles. The chainette construction creates fabrics with beautiful texture, stability, softness, and durability.
⟳ Care Instructions
Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water using a mild detergent. Do not wring or twist. Lay flat to dry and reshape while damp. Light steaming will help relax the stitches and enhance the yarn's natural loft and beautiful texture. Proper care will preserve the softness, elasticity, and shape of your finished garments for years to come.

Please Note
- Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.
- Colors are photographed in natural light but may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
- FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
- Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
