SESIA VIVIENNE is one of the best-known luxury mohair-silk yarns produced in Italy. Made from 70% Super Kid Mohair and 30% Silk, it combines extraordinary softness, elegant drape, and a beautiful airy halo that has made mohair-silk blends a favorite among knitters worldwide.

Unlike many mohair yarns that are used only as companion strands, VIVIENNE performs beautifully on its own. However, we can wind it onto cones upon request. Cones may be purchased separately if you prefer continuous yardage for machine knitting or multi-strand projects. One color is typically wound per cone to maintain consistency.

Please keep in mind: cone yarns, especially those made with extra fine merino or cashmere, may include a protective coating used for industrial knitting. A few gentle washes will allow the yarn to bloom, soften, and reveal its natural texture.

FOR YARN THAT IS CUSTOM-WOUND, ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to winding.
