📍 CONES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE YARN PRICE.
Unlike other shops where cone costs are often built into the yarn price—regardless of the format—our pricing is transparent. You pay only for the yarn itself. If you’d like your order wound on a cone, it can be purchased separately. This small additional charge also helps cover the shipping cost associated with different packaging sizes and the self-cost of the cone. No hidden fees, no inflated markups—just honest, straightforward pricing.

🎨 Color and Texture Note
All shades of this Sherwood yarn feature a refined flamé effect — a subtle variation in thickness that imparts a soft, organic texture and graceful dimension to the fiber.
- The GREY SUEDE TWEED and DARK COFFEE TWEED tones display warm coffee undertones and a timeless TWEED character, enriched with fine colored flecks delicately spun throughout the yarn.
- The GREY FLAME BOUCLE tone, in contrast, is a smooth solid shade, offering a clean, elegant look with understated refinement.

✨ Texture & Feel:
The high percentage of cashmere imparts a truly luxurious, soft hand-feel that is exceptionally warm and lightweight. The Flame Boucle structure provides a subtle, engaging texture with delicate loops, eliminating the need for complex stitch patterns. The Polyamide secures the boucle loops, ensuring a resilient fabric that is soft, dimensional, and utterly comfortable.

🧶 A Note from the Knitter
Working with this Biagioli Modesto blend is a pleasure—it feels incredibly soft and sophisticated. Given its high yardage, it is a versatile yarn that can be used for delicate lace-weight projects or held double/triple to achieve a fast-working garment with plush, cashmere comfort. This yarn is designed for heirloom projects.

🧶 Recommended Use:
The versatility of this yarn allows for a wide range of elegant projects.
• Single Strand (Lace Weight): Ideal for delicate shawls, airy scarves, and fine-gauge garments where the boucle texture provides subtle interest.
• Multi-Strand (Fingering/DK): Perfect for cozy, structured sweaters, cardigans, and accessories where warmth and supreme softness are key.
• Stitch Patterns: The Flame Boucle texture is best showcased with simple stitch patterns like stockinette or garter, allowing the dimension and color to be the focus.

🧶 Knitting with Multiple Strands
This yarn works perfectly when held with multiple strands to achieve a heavier weight:
• 2 Threads: Creates a Light Fingering/Fingering weight yarn with an approximate yardage of 335m(366yd) per 100g.
• 3 Threads: Creates a Sport/Light DK weight yarn with an approximate yardage of 223m(244yd) per 100g.

🧶Recommendations for Weaving:
This yarn is highly recommended for both warp and weft. It possesses sufficient strength for a moderate warp, while its superior softness and boucle texture make it an excellent choice for a luxurious weft in scarves, throws, and garments, adding rich dimension to woven fabric.

🧶 Recommended Needles & Hooks (Based on 3-Ply Knitting - Creating Sport/Light DK Weight):
• For knitting with three threads (creating a Sport/Light DK weight), we recommend 2.5–3.5 mm (US 1.5–4) needles. The general gauge is 24–28 stitches per 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch. Use the smaller end of the range (2.5mm) for a denser, more structured fabric, and the larger end (3.5mm) for a softer, loftier drape.
• For crochet, use hooks in the range of 2.5–3.5 mm (C-2 to E-4).

📏 Estimated Usage:
• Fine Shawl (Single Strand): 100–150g(670–1005m/733–1099 yd)
• Sweater (3-Ply Sport/DK): 300–500g(670–1115m/733–1219 yd)

📍Care Instructions:
• Hand wash gently in cool water with a specialized cashmere or wool detergent.
• Reshape and lay flat to dry.
• Do not wring, twist, or tumble dry.

📍 Please note:
Most yarn prepared on cones for machine knitting is lightly waxed to ensure smooth running. Once knit, it should be washed to reveal its true softness. This yarn is perfect for both hand and machine knitting, highly recommended for creating premium-quality knitwear.

📸 Please Note:
• The amount of yarn shown on cones in the photos may not reflect the actual quantity you’ll receive. Yarn is custom-wound per your order.
• Colors are photographed in natural lighting but may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings. I recommend zooming in on each photo to fully appreciate the beauty and texture of the yarn.
• ±1–2g variation per 100g may occur due to the winding process.
• Each ball/cone is wound with care and packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
